Sophie is a Dalmation mix who is about 3 years old and is an energetic girl who is curious about everything. She loves to run and play with other dogs and is very respectful of cats. She does well on a leash and loves to be close to you. She has been in a foster home and loves to be a couch potato and snuggle up close in bed. She is house trained and is very attentive. She must have a fenced in yard and be on a leash at all times without a fence. She will chase a car and livestock if given the opportunity. A month ago Sophie was hit by a car, so she is back at the shelter and is currently recovering from a broken pelvis and is doing well. She could go to her forever home soon with some minimal supportive care. She is going stir crazy from being on kennel rest for the last month. She would love to go to her new home as soon as possible. Follow up and final care will be provided by the shelter until fully healed. Sophie is currently being fostered.
